NCURA National Conference Travel Award

The NCURA National Conference Travel Awards supports travel-related costs to the 67th Annual Meeting, which will be held in Washington, DC on August 10-13, 2025. The Awards are for up to two individuals who would not otherwise financially be able to attend this conference, and who have not received a past national travel award. As applicable based on applications received, one recipient will be from a U. S. Institution and one recipient will be from an Institution outside the U.S. The awardees receive up to $1500.00 toward travel expenses associated with attending the conference. The attendees' institution/organization is responsible for the registration fee. The criteria for selection are as follows:

  • Be a current NCURA member, 
  • Would not otherwise, financially, be able to attend the conference,
  • Stay at the host hotel and be responsible for making their own room and travel reservations, and
  • Agree to submit a report on their meeting experiences within thirty (30) days of the meeting.

In addition to the application above, provide a brief statement of the anticipated benefits of attending the conference and a letter from your home institution supporting the application, and describing why registration for the conference is not otherwise feasible by May 16, 2025.

The two supporting documents should be sent to awards@ncura.edu. The applicant's name should appear in the email subject line and when naming supporting documents.
